The vision for The Point Apartments is to create a building that's not only functional but also aesthetic in form.The curing form of the apartment tower is organic in design while serving a functional purpose in creating maximum privacy and cross ventilation for residents. Strategic positioning of windows and balconies further ensures that direct sun into bedrooms and living areas is minimised.
Drawing inspiration from its waterfront location, The Point's structure is basone on the geometric shapes of a sailing ship. visually simple, the building's elliptical form will feature curved masonry skins that envelop the solid body of the 'hull'. The building's architecture will also reference the wake, sails and lookout of a shipt to create an abstract statement ot its maritime locale.
