The Suburb of Tennyson, Brisbane
Tennyson, although just a tiny pocket of twelve or so streets, is filled with character and charm. The gorgeous, wide, tree-lined streets characteristic of Brisbane's inner south west provide the area with a gentrified, refined feel.
It enjoys a close proximity to Brisbane's markets, two popular golf clubs and is known for its magnificent riverfront mansions with amazing views. Not so well-known is what lies beyond its exterior, the 'hidden' Tennyson. Home to a small, close knit community, it has a distinct village feel with a strong sense of place and commitment to that place. It is also very tightly held real estate - once people have lived here, they tend not to move away.
