1. What part of Newstead Riverpark is owned by Mirvac?

  • Mirvac controls 10.4ha, or three quarters of the 17ha Newstead Riverpark site, and all 375m of water frontage to the Brisbane River. The site is bounded by Longland, Waterloo and Evelyn Streets and Breakfast Creek Road.
  • Mirvac's portion of the site is known as Waterfront, Newstead.

2. What type of product is Mirvac planning to build at Waterfront, Newstead?

  • Waterfront, Newstead will comprise a range of new high quality apartments, all designed to take advantage of the river, parkland and city views. The total number of apartments is approximately 650.

3. What is currently selling at Waterfront, Newstead.

  • Mirvac released the 99 apartments in the two Pier buildings in June 2008. Limited opportunities remain to purchase a Premium or Penthouse apartment within this stage. Please visit the sales centre at 43 Evelyn Street, Newstead, open 10am - 5pm daily, to view the displays or call 07 3852 9797 for further information. 4. What type of recreational amenities will provided by Mirvac
for residents at Pier?

  • A proposed 5.5 hectare park with a perched lake will be at the centre of Waterfront, Newstead, providing a great space to walk, play or relax.
  • The Brisbane Riverwalk extending through Waterfront, will be accessible to pedestrians and cyclists. It will provide its users a variety of experiences along the riverside, parkside, lakeside and parkside.
  • There will also be some commercial and retail within the development including a café in the entry plaza area of Pier.
  • Adjoining projects will deliver a wide range of services and amenities to the local residents of Newstead including a supermarket, restaurants, boutiques and service providers such as banking and a post office.
  • Each building, as it is delivered may include additional resident amenities and services such as gymnasiums and swimming pools.

5. When will construction commence and complete?

  • Civil works for site services and infrastructure commenced in February 2008. Pier commenced in March 2009. The entire development is estimated to be completed between 2015-2017.
